Next morning, we are visiting Sad Hill Cemetery, from the film The Good, The Bad and the Ugly (Clint Eastwood). It's a great bucket list site for movie buffs! Days 4 and 5

On our 4th day, we take in The Valley of Cuelgamuros (formerly Valley of the Fallen, which now commemorates all who died in the Spanish Civil War). €9 entrance fee. Then, keeping Madrid and Toledo to the East, passing lakes and little villages, we will cover some good mileage today on the long sweeping roads to arrive at our 4* hotel in the centre of a vibrant, traditional town.

Into Andalucia now and the temperatures should be wonderful as we ride back-country lanes, past olive groves, white-washed houses and through National Parks, with a stop off to say 'Hola' to an Osborne Bull. You will spend the latter part of the day riding technical twisties past some jaw-dropping scenery.

Motorcycle holiday to Europe

Days 6 and 7

The next day, travelling through 2 Natural Parks, we navigate some very tight twisties to 4,000 feet and pass a beautiful, tree-lined lake. These next 2 days will give you some of the best riding of your life as we follow the river Mundo and ride some technical sections, past houses built into the naturally rock-lined roads, to arrive at our 4* hotel.

With our destination of Valencia, the home of Paella, we will carry on through the backroads and villages. We will also travel past a village built on top of a large mound of rock, making for some great views.

Motorcyle routes Silent Route Spain

Day 8

You will spend a 2nd night  here in Valencia, having arrived last night into your individual, private, 4* apartment! This is a rest day, should you wish. You have the option of exploring this beautiful city, which was hit so brutally by the floods recently; they have exceeded all possibility in restoring the streets and buildings and need your tourist dollar! You could also take a trip to the beach on the metro, bus or bike, or simply enjoy a local tapas bar, or 5! Valencia has some of the warmest people we have met and it is a lovely place to relax and soak up the atmosphere.

Motorcycle route Bardena Reales Dessert Spain

Days 9 and 10

What can we say about the Silent Route you will ride today? We'll share this feedback from the Devils Breath tour: "The Silent route, well aside from bike engines, totally silent...unlike anything I have ever seen, stunning, epic, breathtaking...I still can't convey the magnificence of it, carving hairpin bends in a huge canyon, went on for miles. Utter bucket list stuff"

Then, after that epic day, you ride a short stretch of fast roads to reach the stunning Bardenas Reales desert; a route we rode most recently on the last Pyrenees tour. The feedback has been so positive we are including it again! 17 miles of incredible, light, off-road compact track (alternative road route available). We're finishing at a 15th century covent 4* hotel, tucked away in a quiet and remote Aragon village.
